To our passengers, We would like to inform you that blockading actions and rotational strikes may paralyze airport activities as well as the nearby road system on Monday 24 November 2014. We advise you to take all necessary steps in order to be at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your departure. You should also visit airline websites regularly in order to stay informed. We are doing our best to ensure that all flights can operate at Brussels South Charleroi Airport.

· How much time should I provide to get through security?

That depends on the number of passengers departing at the same time. At a quiet moment in winter you may not have to queue at all, on the busiest moments of peak days you may have to queue for half an hour or more. That is why - especially on very busy days - it is important to arrive at the airport well ahead of your scheduled departure time. Passengers are responsible to be at the gate in time for boarding even if there are long waiting times at security screening.
