Assistance for disabled and reduced-mobility persons.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport provides special services for disabled and reduced-mobility persons in order to ensure a comfortable travel experience.
Need assistance? Request it early!
If you require assistance, it is important that you make this known as soon as possible. When reserving a flight, inform your travel agent or the airline of your needs.
The request for assistance must be submitted to the airport at least 48 hours prior to your departure (or arrival) time.
Relevant assistance, such as wheelchair service, will then be available to you at the airport on your arrival. This assistance will be provided by a member of the airport assistance staff.
Special requirements
Please note that some airlines have special terms and conditions. For example, wheelchairs with ‘wet’ batteries are usually not permitted on the aircraft. Restrictions may occur regarding wheelchair dimensions. If you wish to transport a wheelchair by air, the airline must often be informed of this at least 72 hours prior to departure. Make sure to obtain all necessary information from your travel agent or airline and check their websites.
