At the security control
An official will welcome you by asking you to be kind enough to place your hand luggage on the roller table. Then, he or she will ask you to divest yourself of your belt, your jacket and any metal object (watch, keys, mobile phone, etc).
Similarly, electrical appliances will be removed and checked separately (laptops, hair dryers, radios, etc.).
Special attention is paid to the carrying of liquids, which must imperatively be contained in a plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one litre per person, and which you must present to the security official.
These objects, as well as your luggage, will go through an x-ray device. A manual search of your objects can, if necessary, be required. You will go through a metal detector. The official will determine whether or not there has to be a body search.
You could be asked to take off your shoes if they set off the metal detector.
Tip: Avoid shoes with steel reinforcements!
At the end of the control, don’t forget to reclaim all your personal effects.

In the security control area, BSCA, the Friendly Airport undertakes that:

- to inform you about the reasons for the controls that you undergo,
- to treat you politely and courteously,
- to handle our personal effects with care,
- to give you the possibility of making comments,
- to place an official at your disposal for answering your questions.
Once the Security Control has finished, you will have an opportunity to inform us of your satisfaction or otherwise in relation to our stated undertakings by completing the satisfaction survey from provided for that purpose.
