Pointed weapons and sharp objects

Sharped or pointed objects that could cause injuries, including :

  • axes and hatchets,
  • arrows and darts,
  • crampons,
  • harpoons and spears,
  • ice axes and ice piks,
  • lockable knives or flick knives, whatever the length of blade,
  • knives, including ceremonial knives, with blades of more than 6 cm, made of metal or some other material strong enough to be used as a weapon,
  • meat cleavers,
  • machetes,
  • straight and cut throat razors (with the exception of safety razors, disposable razors and blades enclosed in cartridges),
  • sabres, swords and swordsticks,
  • scalpels,
  • scissors with blades of more than 6 cm,
  • ski sticks and hicking sticks,
  • throwing stars (shuriken),
  • tools, if these could be used as sharp or pointed weapons, e.g. drills and drill bits, cutters, multiple-blade knives, saws of any kind, screwdrivers, crowbars, hammers, cutting pliers, flat spanners or monkey wrenches and blowtorches.
