Caution! The « Easy Car » parking, which is promoted on the internet, is not a parking AT the airport. This is a pirate parking field situated outside of the airport premises, needing a shuttle transfer. The airport declines all responsibility, especially in terms of service and safety. 29.10.12 BSCA welcomes maiden flight Ljubljana !
Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) welcomes today the first flight from Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia. As of today, Wizzair operates direct flights on Monday and Friday between Brussels South Charleroi and Ljubljana.
Ljubljana, city of many beautiful bridges, is situated in the heart of Slovenia. Although the oldest architecture has been preserved from the Roman period, Ljubljana's downtown got its outline in the middle Ages. After the 1511 earthquake, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style following Venetian, models. After the quake in 1895, it was once again rebuilt, this time in the Vienna Secession style, which today is mixed with earlier Baroque style buildings that remain. Throughout its history, it has been influenced by its geographic position at the crossroads of the Slavic world with the Germanic and Latin cultures.
Slovenia also has a solid ski tradition. Ljubljana and the surrounding area have excellent facilities for Winter sports.
