People with reduced mobility

Services for passengers with reduced mobility

Charleroi Airport offers assistance for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

This assistance for people with disabilities or reduced mobility is provided by our airport’s PMR service.

This service is provided in accordance with the European Regulation of the European Parliament and Council of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air.

Once they have informed their airline of their presence, up to 48 hours before their departure, people with reduced mobility will be taken care of by our support service in the PMR Corner, located in the departure lounge.

Please note that if this deadline is not met, the airport will not be able to guarantee that it will be able to look after you.

Disabled access to Charleroi airport’s car parks have been designed to make it easy for people with reduced mobility to park. These spaces can be found on different floors of car park 1 and in the Express car park.

The parking spaces are marked by signs with a white pictogram on a blue background, as well as markings on the ground.

The vehicle must have a parking badge for people with disabilities offering 2 hours’ free parking, in the Express car park only, on presentation of this badge at the airport’s information desk.
